The show’s first season was released in 2013, so this really was years in the making and I love that the creators were dedicated to continuing their story. Described as “a BIPOC-fueled series with a diverse cast and crew,” I couldn’t wait to check this one out…

Created by Ashley Denise & Ricki Lynèe, who also stars in the project, The Retreat is a suspenseful web series following the schemes that unfold amongst a group of black women after a damning secret is revealed during an artist retreat.
